Sayline is built on a "Local-First" architecture. This means:

• No Cloud Processing: We do not upload your voice recordings or transcriptions to any server. All processing happens locally on your device using the SOTA (state-of-the-art) ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) model.
• No Training Data: We do not use your data to train our AI models.
• No Eavesdropping: Sayline only listens when you explicitly trigger it (via hotkey or button).

While the Sayline application processes your content locally, we collect limited information to operate our business (e.g., billing and licensing).

A. Information You Provide

• Account & Billing Info: When you purchase a license, our Merchant of Record, Polar.sh, collects your email address, name, and payment details. Sayline does not store your full credit card information.
• Support Communications: If you email us, we collect your email address and the content of your message to assist you.

B. Automatically Collected Data (Website Only)

• Website Analytics: When you visit sayline.app, we may collect anonymous usage data (e.g., pages visited, browser type) to improve our website's performance.
• Cookies: We use essential cookies to manage your session and preferences on our website.

We share data only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to run our business:

• Polar.sh: Processes payments and manages license keys.
• Vercel: Hosts our website and infrastructure.
